Visualizing Circular Pacific: Logo Challenge
A call for Pasifika designers to shape the visual identity of a circular economy initiative of networking and accountability to boost recycling across the Pacific Island countries.
CHALLENGE OVERVIEW
In this challenge, we aim to empower Pasifika designers to create a compelling and distinctive visual identity for the Circular Pacific via Regional Recycling Network (CP-RRN) Project that reflects regional cooperation, circular economy principles, and the shared commitment of Pacific Island countries to reduce waste and protect their ocean and land.
Pacific Island countries face growing solid waste challenges that threaten public health, marine ecosystems, and climate resilience. Opportunities to boost a sustainable economic growth through waste resource recovery are being missed. The CP-RRN Project aims to strengthen a network of recyclers, make producers accountable, and citizens actively participating in recycling practices to reduce pollution across 14 Pacific countries.
How might we create a compelling, culturally grounded visual identity for Circular Pacific that unites regional action and communicates solutions to the growing waste challenges affecting ecosystems, livelihoods, and climate resilience in Pacific Island countries?
Join the Circular Pacific movement and design a logo and the visuals that represents a cleaner, more resilient and connected Pacific region!
