Visualizing Circular Pacific: Logo Challenge

A call for Pasifika designers to shape the visual identity of a circular economy initiative of networking and accountability to boost recycling across the Pacific Island countries.

SELECTION CRITERIA

The submissions will be evaluated on the following criteria below:

  • Creativity & Originality (25%)

  • The design demonstrates originality, innovation, and a strong conceptual idea. The logo is distinctive, memorable, and avoids generic recycling imagery.

  • Visual Impact, Clarity & Versatility (25%)

  • The logo is visually distinctive, clear, and versatile across a wide range of applications, including digital platforms, print materials, event branding, and merchandise. It retains strong visual impact at different sizes and performs effectively in monochrome formats.

  • Relevance to Circular Economy & Regional Vision (25%)

  • The design clearly reflects circular economy principles, regional cooperation, and environmental sustainability in the Pacific context.

  • Cultural Authenticity & Pacific Identity (25%)

  • The design thoughtfully reflects Pacific identity, values, and cultural context in a respectful, contemporary manner. Its visual language demonstrates authenticity and sensitivity to regional diversity, avoiding clichés or stereotypes.
