The countries or territories that are eligible to benefit from Technology Innovation Challenge grant funding are provided below. Applicants must select a location from this list for their proof of concept or pilot projects for the proposed technology solution(s):

 

Afghanistan; Armenia; Azerbaijan; Bangladesh; Bhutan; Cambodia; Cook Islands; Federated States of Micronesia; Fiji; Georgia; India; Indonesia;  Kiribati; Kyrgyz Republic; Lao People’s Democratic Republic; Maldives; Marshall Islands; Mongolia; Myanmar; Nauru; Nepal; Niue; Pakistan; Palau; Papua New Guinea; Philippines; Samoa;  Solomon Islands; Sri Lanka; Tajikistan; Thailand; Timor-Leste; Tonga; Turkmenistan; Tuvalu; Uzbekistan; Vanuatu; Viet Nam.

Only those organizations, joint venture partners and their suppliers and subcontractors that are registered or incorporated in these countries or territories are eligible to receive ADB funding for Technology Innovation Challenge grants (unless they are subject to sanctions imposed by ADB  for integrity violations, or, in accordance with the Cross-Debarment Agreement, subject to cross-debarment by ADB based on debarment by any of the participating multilateral development banks).
