#DigitalAgainstCOVID-19: ADB's Digital Approach to Shaping the New Normal

This 2020 ADB-AIM Hackathon provides a platform where you can become part of shaping the new normal. Together, let’s find opportunities to utilize digital tools and technologies to tackle what life will be like in the new normal. We are crowdsourcing innovation from global problem solvers: startups, companies, universities, research organizations, and industry players.

Selected ideas and solutions will be provided with access to resources for further prototype development and pilot launch.

Are there ways digital technologies could help us address the long-term needs of these critical areas?
Ideas can be submitted at any stage, throughout the entire hackathon’s 9-month duration.

Identify SOLUTIONS to CHALLENGES

How might digital tools help us address our most critical problems and opportunities to address specific challenges?

Each round spans in a 3-month phase starting from articulating problems to identifying solutions. Participants will go through application, evaluation, mentoring, and pitching.

The most valuable solutions will be selected based on value. We will focus on feasibility on deployment. Selected solutions will get the opportunity to develop prototypes, funded by ADB for pilot testing, supported by our partners and specialized experts. We want to go beyond spotting solutions to putting together a comprehensive, systematic, and scalable program aimed at producing measurable, sustained outcomes.
