Digital Reskilling and Upskilling of the New Workforce
Bridging the gap in digital skills
APPLICATION PHASE
12 August - 23 October 2020 at 1700 hrs [GMT+8]
The proposal should be submitted on or before October 23, 2020 with a deadline set at 1700 hrs [GMT +8]. The following content should be provided:
- Team Introduction: Name and professional background (including short 1-page CV) for all members of the team submitting applications.
- Presentation with (i) idea and value proposition; (ii) details on the underpinning technology and data inputs, (iii) explanation of the solution (iv) details on how to maintain the product in the long run, and (v) identified relevant digital skills
EVALUATION PHASE
23 October 2020
Up to 10 submissions will be evaluated and shortlisted to proceed by the end of the round. Shortlisted teams will be notified on November 23, 2020 at 1600 hrs [GMT +8].
MENTORING PHASE
16 to 29 November
Shortlisted teams may be paired with ADB experts and other subject matter experts to understand the context of the problem further and refine the proposed solution from November 16 to 29, 2020. The teams will be invited to engage and submit questions in a webinar that will be facilitated by ADB. Teams will have to deliver their improved pitch decks by 2 December.
PITCHING SESSION
14 January 2020
The shortlisted teams will have an opportunity to present their final solutions to the Jury, including a required live demonstration of tools, methods, and findings. Participants are required to upload their Deliverable before the pitching session. The Challenge Pitching and selection will take place on January 14, 2020.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Proposals will be judged based on:
- Business Value 30%
- Operational Feasibility and Scalability 30%
- User Experience 20%
- Technical Competency 20%.
