Asian Development Bank (ADB), in partnership with The Asian Institute of Management (AIM), is calling all Students, Startups and the General Public across the World to answer the following problem statements:
How can we better preserve our water resources in Asia?
How can we address water waste and lack of water resources in Asia?
This challenge presents a unique opportunity to implement your project together with ADB and AIM! The TOP 5 teams will be invited to a sponsored trip to the Philippines to participate in a 2-day hackathon following by the Grand Final Event to present their ideas to top ADB executives and AIM experts.
The winning teams will be rewarded with up to USD 10,000 seed funding and private technical and strategy mentoring sessions by AIM and partners and will also have the chance to pitch their project at the International Disaster Conference in November.

CURRENT WATER AFFAIRS
Our planet is undergoing a profound change and with that, facing multiple natural problems. The United Nations predicts that by 2025, half of the countries worldwide will face over flooding water problems or water outright shortages.The Asian countries, of course, are no exception. In addition to scarcity, they face some over-flooding water problem. How can we solve this issue?
The objective of this challenge is to engage students, startups and individuals in drumming up innovative ideas and solutions related to these two-pronged global water crisis.
To start off, we have listed below two topics that could be tackled. Still, ideas to solve the water problems are endless! So feel free to submit other solutions that do not directly fall into any of these two categories!
