APPLICATION PHASE
Participants may need to use sensitive data to complete their challenge. If data needed are available and can be provided by ADB, participants will have to sign a Fair Data Use Agreement. The Agreement is available for download from the "Fair Data Use Agreement" tab of this page. You are required to sign the Agreement and send it to digital@adb.org.
The proposal should be submitted by 23 October 2020 with a deadline set at 1200 hrs [GMT +8]. The following content should be provided:
- Team Introduction: Name and professional background (including short 1-page CV) for all members of the team submitting applications.
- Submission using deck of slides (maximum of 15 slides): with (i) idea and value proposition; (ii) details on the core technology, data inputs, and research methodology, (iii) evidence of accuracy, and (iv) explanation on why selected data are logical proxies credit behavior, and (v) details on how to maintain the product in the long run.
EVALUATION PHASE
Proposals do not need to cover all the areas of interest, or even all the aspects within the area of interest. The jury may evaluate and select the winning submissions based on the following criteria:
- Innovativeness 30%
- Scalability 20%
- Ease of user experience 30%
- Ease and cost of implementation 20%
Only 6 submissions will be shortlisted in the first evaluation and invited to proceed to the Pitching Day. All Challenge submissions will be judged according to the selection criteria determined by the Jury. Shortlisted teams will be notified by 30 October 2020 at 1600 hrs [GMT +8].
MENTORING PHASE
PITCHING PHASE
The 6 shortlisted teams will have an opportunity to present their final solutions to the Jury, including a required live demonstration of tools, methods, and findings during the Pitching. Participants are required to upload a Deliverable by 12 November 2020 at 1800 hrs [GMT +8]. The Challenge Pitching and selection will take place on 13 November 2020.
